It is truly a show of the IDF's force and Israel's resilience to quickly bounce back and defend itself. Just 74 days after Hamas carried out a terror attack in an attempt to destroy Israel, the IDF's presence is a testament to their determination to protect their people.
Discovering the Underground Tunnels
In many movies, villains have secret underground tunnels that lead to their evil lairs. In the Gaza Strip, it seems that underground tunnels are a way of life. The IDF recently revealed Hamas's largest terror tunnel, which surpassed anyone's imagination.
Using advanced technologies and military equipment, special units from the IDF were able to scan the perilous underground and identify a mega underground tunnel belonging to Hamas. This tunnel spans a staggering 4 kilometers and reaches a depth of 50 meters below ground level. It boasts dozens of exit points, some of which are as close as 400 to 100 meters from Israeli areas.
